Water Challenge at the Renewable Gas Valladolid Renewable Gas Show

Water Challenge was honored to be present at the Renewable Gas Show, one of the key events for the biogas, biomethane and other renewable gases industry. This forum, held in Valladolid on October 1st and 2nd, brings together companies, experts and organizations every year with the aim of exploring new technological opportunities and promoting innovative solutions for a sector in full growth.

Water Challenge and biogas

Water Challenge's technology will play a key role in the biogas industry due to its unique ability to continuously purify the raw digestate generated during the biogas production process. Unlike traditional methods, this system requires no interruptions or additional steps, allowing the digestate to be converted into pure water and dry solids with a moisture content of less than 5-10%. These solids can be valorized as high quality fertilizers, rich in essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

In addition to significantly reducing treatment complexity, the Water Challenge system also minimizes energy costs and promotes sanitization of the solids obtained. This approach not only boosts sustainability, but also reinforces the biogas industry's commitment to the principles of the circular economy.
