A single process

A single, continuous physical process of evaporation and crystallization, without chemicals or consumables and with low energy consumption <20kWh/m3.

It is carried out in 6 steps:

  1. The fluid enters the preheated system
  2. It is introduced at sonic speed into the evaporation chamber
  3. Flash evaporation occurs and the solids precipitate by gravity
  4. The steam produced is compressed and fed back into the system
  5. The condensed steam finishes drying the concentrate, obtaining dry solids
  6. The condensed water preheats the input fluid (step 1)

Two by-products of the treatment

  • Water suitable for all uses
    • Purified 5-250µS/cm
    • Suitable for human consumption
    • Suitable for industrial use, irrigation or H2V
 
  • Dry solids: <15%
    • Valuable as fertilisers or raw materials (mineral salts, metals, etc.)

Efficient in energy consumption <20kWh/m3

  • Plant with a design adaptable to all renewable energies
  • Energy cost of ~10kWh/m3 with residual heat

Scalable and modular

  • No flow limit (from 50m3/day or higher than 2,000m3/day)
  • Installation in squid or containerized (plug & play in container)
